FFX... Final fantasy ten, correct?

If we're thinking about the same game, whats Sutekdan? :O

eaither way, this is a neat little song [[little being 6 mins... lol. :x Not]] I think the quality of the insturments used is a kind of sub-par quality, keeping it from being good, but the way you used the sound was neat.

Reminds me of a church-organ themed song sometimes in the duration of the near-7 minutes. o.o

BowserThedestructive responds:

i am not sure the song was in the FFX section of midi was looking through its exactly why i did this song because its not so well known its a song thats good but not many people knew it existed which is why i orchestrated it :) the quality is superb to me its the best i can do i have better instruments now :) if you check my latest orchestral :) and i always output at the best quality and highest bitrate just under 8mb that i can ;) some i have to cut for quality for size sadely D: :P

:D Hehe

I think its a neat song, The begginning 12 seconds are meh, but I like the rest of the song, even if i'm not a fan of the insturments. Its well composed and everything doesn't seem to combat eachother for the top in a bad way, aka everything is volumed right. That can make a real difference.

Keep it up :D Its never good to review songs from a purely 'Does it sound like the game it was remixed from?' bias. Unless its ripped from the game and thrown here. Hehe.

BowserThedestructive responds:

nope :D i dont rip songs I remake them reembrace them restyle them redo them not from scratch but by the notes that make them up. Search google i think for castelevania wandering of ghosts you should be able to find the orignal and you will see a big differnce :P the orignal was totaly differnt so i made it a mexicanish Style orchestral :)

Lol.

Below viewer: lol what.

This is a hard song to get right, you have to definetally give him effort for putting all his time into it. I say he did it nicely ^.^ Though yes, better quality things could have been used as I have heard in the past, but eh whatever :D

Isn't this supposed to be the first part of the song, Eaither way, I don't care. And don't truly know, I've never played FFVI/FFIII :D

Cosmos8942 responds:

It is a very hard song to get right, you are correct on that part. Hmm, listening through this old old 'remix' I hear a few things that could be done to it...hmm. Well since this review is nearly two years old I guess perhaps a surprise may be in order lol.

Ah well, thanks for the review, better late then never on the answering I suppose lol.

T.T

Nice tune.

SouleMan86 responds:

Hey thanks bro. appreciate the kind review.

luls. I can imagine this being in one of those games that always used old midi sounds, but their more modern versions using heavy metal, like crisis core XD

Not that this song matches the tones and melodies of any game I know of, just saying I can see this being in a recent game release of some old series XD

Grand job, high quality, even if those guitars are fame or not. I really wouldn't know.

Also, it would fit in well with a early or late sonic boss battle, as you said. The early kind that is epic, such as one of the Sonic adventure games that had you playing shadow early on for a bit, or something like that.

shadowmana responds:

Thank you for the review! I will definantly read this over and over to get a bit of a confidence boost to make more songs.

Hehe

The song or more specifically, study was well played, but since I don't have much of any talent in music, I cannot give you a good critique, truthfully... I diddn't like the opening, something felt... Bad about it, but that is all I said :D

There is also this bass or this... something in the background that reminds me of a melody in James Bond/Doubleo-Seven/Goldeneye games, not that this song is comparable to any such songs, i'm just saying there is a tune somewhat deep in the background that has that tone in Goldeneye :D

Kor-Rune responds:

Just a bit of chromatic scale tapping, it's supposed to sound horribly off key. Then again I played it sloppy

Haha, blame Sorohanro for the James Bond Theme though

Thanks for the review!

Aaaah

I wish I could actually make music, I tried it and failed. You sort of captured one of the feels from a song I wanted to make a long time ago, but I could never get on it. Although, a reason for me saying that just might be the fact that I roleplay as well, recently i've been rolepalying in Neverwinter in fact. I believe I visited Three Kingdoms once... Wasn't it a server some years ago that had like 90 people per day on it or something? :x

Nice song, by the way, as I already stated by your capturing the tone that I wanted to capture once D:

Except for the electronical sounds.

Diabolo-ical responds:

Thank you :) I didn't really want to smother it with electronica but my collection of string instruments and other orchestral samples is lacking.

As for The Three Kingdoms, I don't think it ever had 90 players, but it sure was popular at one point, so much in fact that it often overflowed with several players queueing up to get on. lol

Anywho, thanks for the review & score :)

o.o

I can imagine this being used in mass effect if it was a good deal of years back in teh past, with the lesser graphics. There are certain parts, like at 0:08, 1:38, and a few other times where the melody is almost exactly like a scene in mass effect O.o, which is probably where I got the picture in my head for. Too many other insturment beats added in, like the piano, keeping it from being um, mass-effecty.

I like the song though :D

BlazingDragon responds:

I've never played Mass Effect or even heard the music, unfortunately. So any likeness to the music is completely by chance. O_o...The majority of my songs have a piano somewhere. I just LOVE the piano, and have to throw it in somewhere, if not throughout the entire piece. :P

Thanks for the review,
~Blaze

Yay it sounds more like plot-things :D

Can't get enough of plot-things. The only thing I don't like is the string-pulling or whatever happened at the second half of the song, but thats only because thats not my style. Oh yeah, this suddenly reminded me of warcraft II.

Even though it has no music like this x.x

Kimken responds:

I had secont thoughts 'bout that short part.. But decided to leave it. I'll change it when I have time, maybe in a month or so :|

Duh.
